St. Patrick's Day

Here's some shots of our little "Sham-Rocker" on St. Patrick's Day. It was a beautiful day again this year, so Connor got his first wagon ride around the neighborhood of the spring. He's enjoying some fish sticks for dinner in his booster chair - the high chair is reserved for only the super messy dinners, like ravioli and mac and cheese. He's very upset below because he wants to go downstairs very badly, and then he's a very happy boy because he got to go downstairs and play with his trains.

This past week was my spring break, so Connor and I had a lot of fun times. Lots of shopping, very fun trip to the children's museum, and lots of time outside. Daddy also joined us on a trip to the zoo, which Connor's really starting to think is fun, especially the penguins and otters. I am very much looking forward to summer again to spend more time at home with Connor!

Cars!!!

Connor's favorite toys are definitely his cars. Cars is also one of his favorite words, but he never says it - he always shouts CAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRSSS! His new thing with his cars is to line them up - on the floor, TV stand, ottomon, couch back, bookshelf, or on Mommy and Daddy. He loves to get them all set up, and then he drives them over the edge or all over the floor.

Go!!!

It's been a long cold winter, but Connor finds ways to entertain himself inside. He's always on the move - running, not walking. He'll run laps around just about anything. In this video, he's running length of our living room, back and forth, and shouting Go, Go, Go!!!

Connor's Smooth Moves

Here's a video of Connor spinning around and around plus a little dancing...

Home Sweet Home

After some treacherous driving, we made it home from our holiday trip safe and sound. It didn't take Connor long to find new ways to make Mommy worry. Check out Connor climbing into the kitchen drawer, which he now uses to grab things off the kitchen counter. He also enjoys climbing onto the dining room table and still loves to jump on any piece of furniture. Although we've enjoyed our family time over winter break and the extra winter break courtesy of yet another snow storm and freezing temperatures leading to another three snow days, it's been not so pleasant since Connor has had an ear infection and we all came down with the stomach flu one after another. Here's hoping that the rest of 2010 is warmer and healthier!

Sledding

Here's a video (taken with our new FlipVideo!) of Connor sledding with his Uncle Patrick.

First Time Sledding

During our visit in Colorado, Connor went sledding for the first time. We had a great time watching, but Connor didn't enjoy it as much as the rest of us. The snow was flying in his face, so he was a little cold and wet. We think he'll be ready to go next winter.
