This weekend we had the first snowfall of the year! Connor loved watching it snow from the window that night, and it was really beautiful because we were nice and warm inside. He couldn't wait to get outside the next day to play in it. He was so excited and had a blast with the snow!

Fall and Leaves
All Tuckered Out!
Connor has hit the terrible twos! He runs around like crazy. Tells Mommy and Daddy "NO!" and likes to point his finger at you, too. And he whines and cries when he's exhausted, but won't lay down until he's absolutely done and crashes. Apparently his new favorite spot to catch some zzz's is the ottoman in the living room.
Trick-or-Treat!
Connor also enjoyed his first real adventures of Trick-or-Treating! Mommy and grandma took him up and down our street, and we all loved every minute! We would ask Connor to say trick-or-treat, which he would say "treat" quietly. Then, we got him to tell everyone what a monkey says. Connor would say "eeh, eeh, eeh, aah, aah!" He was so adorable!!! Then, he would get his candy, and like a good boy say "Thank you!" with a little reminding from mom. He couldn't wait to tear into the candy when we got home. He had three pieces, and then we had to cut him off. Connor also loved seeing all the kids coming to our house in their costumes. All night and for the next couple of days he kept asking for the kids, "Where kids go?" Halloween is definitely a Connor favorite!
Ghoulish Garden Adventure
We started off our Halloween festivities with a trip to Lauritzen Gardens for some garden adventures. Connor makes the perfect mischieveous little monkey. He wasted no time in picking some flowers - another Connor "uh, oh." The gardens were beautiful for the fall mum show, and Connor definitely had fun running around the gardens, inside and out.
Connor's Pumpkin!
The best part of the pumpkin patch was Connor getting his own pumpkin! He got to wash it, by throwing it into the wash tub and splashing water everywhere - thank goodness there weren't other kids nearby. It was a riot watching Connor carry around his own little pumpkin. The poor pumpkin got dropped many times and Connor kept saying "uh, oh" and then picking it right back up again. :)
Pumpkin Patch
We visited two pumpkin patches this fall and both were tons of fun! Here Connor is petting some goats. He was a little scared at first, but then he just loved it. Connor also loved all the pumpkins, and he did a great job indulging Mommy who was trying to get a couple photo opps with all the great pumpkins laying around!
Playing All Day Long...
Birthday Cake!
Here's the official birthday cake. Connor LOVES Elmo right now, plus he always love cars. It's the perfect cake for him. He once again enjoyed having everyone sing "Happy Birthday" to him and trying with all his might to blow out the candle. Eating the cake was messy, but not too bad, especially compared to the first birthday cake. So much fun!
Birthday Party
Connor did understand opening presents and getting lots of new toys this year, so it was lots of fun to see him tackle all the gifts. He was very eager all day to get to them. Once he started opening them, he really wanted to just play with whatever he got. He did a good job moving on to the next present until the Legos were opened. Then you can see a sad Connor below because he wanted to play with those Legos NOW! He loved all his presents, but I think the Legos took the cake. He did cheer up to finish unwrapping the rest of his presents with some help from Daddy. The last one was Daddy's favorite gift - the signed Nebraska jersey! Thanks to everyone who enjoyed Connor's 2nd birthday with us and for all the wonderful gifts!
Happy 2nd Birthday Connor!

Mommy's Birthday
I celebrated a wonderful birthday with the family. We all enjoyed the cake and ice cream. Afterwards, Connor got a "shower" by running through the sprinklers on the super hot day. School is back in full swing now - it's been a busy, stressful start to the year, which might explain why we haven't taken but a few pictures since it started. Connor's birthday is coming up this week, so you can expect some pictures from his 2nd birthday party, hopefully sooner than the ones from mine. Can't believe it's been 2 years!
