Father's Day Weekend

Look at Me

Here's Connor showing off his standing abilities. He spends all day now standing up, falling down, and crawling. It makes me very nervous, but he does a good job of falling down so as not to get hurt. He is starting to climb on things now - he got on top of the suitcase while I was trying to unpack.

Trip to Colorado

We enjoyed our first trip to Colorado with Connor. Connor had another first - his first time flying. He did great on the way there, but the way back was a little rough - a combination of ears hurting, teeth hurting, and exhausted. We had a great time with the Rudden family. Connor loves spending time with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousin Kyla. Here's a couple pictures of the two of them hanging out. Connor loved the Colorado Rockies game. It was a little scary with the tornado warnings, but we're all safe and sound.

We Love Summer

Summer has been great so far. I love staying home with Connor, but I don't think I could do it all year long. He is crawling all over the place and getting into everything. He is truly all boy - just loves making messes. Another milestone - Connor stood up for the first time today. He pulled himself up using the couch. We've had lots of fun, but his teeth are giving him a hard time. We hope the next couple come in really soon.

Hanging out at Grandma's

This past weekend we spent some time at Grandma Susie and Grandpa Chuck's house. We also got to see Grandpa and Grandma Rudden and Uncle Patrick while Patrick was competing at Odyssey of the Mind at Iowa State. Connor had a great time being the center of attention all weekend. Connor also likes to hang out with his buddy on the dishwasher at Grandma's house - see the middle picture. He loves to play with his reflection and give himself kisses.

Little Animal

Here's Connor hard at work playing. He is quite the wiggle worm. Ever since he starting crawling he does not want to stay in one place long. He loves to open cupboards and drawers, crawl under the computer desk and try to play with the cables, and climb up everything. He pulls himself up on his knees, and will probably get to standing soon. We're also hoping more teeth come in soon, as you can see in the bottom picture is poor little gums are sore.

Playing Outside

Connor loves playing outside - these pics are from Memorial Day weekend. However, he is not very fond of grass - he rarely goes off the blanket. He also doesn't care for wearing his hat, but sometimes he'll wear it for awhile if he forgets it's on.

Bath Time

Here's Connor enjoying a bath in the real bathtub. He loves to splash - soaking me in the process. He also loves playing with his rubber duckies, so much so that he will dive to get them. He's swallowed a couple of mouthfuls of water due to his excitement.
