Another annual holiday tradition is checking out the poinsettias and trains at the gardens. I love the poinsettias, and the kids love the trains. This year, we got a bonus of a wild turkey chase!

Winter Fun
Here's some shots from our random adventures this winter - from warm days at the park to super cold days hanging out at home, plus our holiday traditions of baking cookies and visiting Santa and his reindeer.
Merry Christmas
We had a very merry Christmas! We had a relaxing, lazy holiday lounging around with family. Connor was thrilled with all his presents and the visit from Santa, especially all his Lego gifts. Charlotte was just interested in opening presents, but not so much the actual presents. Christmas morning she wasn't impressed by Santa's visit, until she dressed up in her new Frozen nightgown and transformed into her pretty princess self. I just wanted one nice family photo - well three out of four smiling faces will have to do this year. :)
