Having Fun at Home

Here's Connor hanging out with Grandma Susie. Grandpa Chuck and Auntie Val were over, too. Connor's usually a very smiley baby except for when we get that darn camera out. Below he's munching on his flower buddy in the Exersaucer. He loves any toy he can stick in his mouth.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Here's Connor hanging out on Valentine's Day. He's not in the best of moods unfortunately because he's been sick. It's been a tough week for Connor. He's had a nasty cough, a stomach bug, and eventually developed bronchiolitis. The poor little guy is on steroids now and breathing treatments with albuterol. Hopefully, he'll be back to his old self soon. He's already doing much better. The bottom picture is Connor with one of his favorite pals - Jacques the Peacock.

Look at All That Hair!

Connor's hair is really coming in! He's got a lot on top now, but still has a little bald spot going on in the back.

Four Months Old!

Connor had his four-month check-up last week. He now weighs 13 lbs. 12.5 oz, and he's 25.25 inches long. He had a little bit of a rash, a reaction from one of his shots, but it's cleared up and he's doing well. We got the go ahead to try solid foods. The first attempt at cereal didn't go well as you can see. He was not having it, and desperately wanted a bottle. We tried again, but he's just not quite ready for it yet. Below he's playing in his ExerSaucer. He's finally big enough to reach for the toys, and he has a blast playing in it.

January Photos

January's been a busy month for the Rudden family. We try to go to as many Creighton basketball games as we can. Connor's still enjoying them and loves to show off his smiles to the people sitting nearby. I also work all the South High basketball games doing concessions, so my spare time has been spent playing with Connor and trying to get some sleep. Jerimiah went to Salt Lake City for work, but was only gone four days. He only has one more trip there, and hopefully it'll be his last. Connor and I really missed not having him around.

At top, Connor is sporting his Eagles gear - too bad they didn't make it to the Super Bowl. In the middle, Connor was hanging out at home with Daddy. He loves to snuggle his burpies and blankets. Here, Connor is hugging his taggie blanket that Grandma Betty made him. The bottom picture is Connor doing his other favorite activity - playing with his feet and taking off his socks.
