Baptism

Connor was baptized on November 29th. We're thankful that so many people could come share the event with us. Here's some pictures of him looking so handsome in his white suit. He was such a good little baby for the baptism. Many of you already know the story, but Connor decided to poop right in the middle of the gospel. The baptism was right after the sermon, so there was no time to change him. He was baptized stinky and very hungry too, but he barely fussed. I guess we have quite the little stinky angel.

Thanksgiving

Here's Connor on his first Thanksgiving! We celebrated at our house with Jerimiah's mom and sisters. Connor loved all the extra people to check out, especially his cousin Kyla who is exactly six months older. Connor looked adorable in his turkey sleeper - Thanks Steph!

What a Cutie!

Sorry for the long delay between posts. As you can imagine Connor keeps us pretty busy. These pictures are right around Connor's two-month birthday on November 23rd. At his checkup, he was 23 3/4 inches and 11.8 oz, and he's definitely grown even more. If you look closely at the top two pictures you can see the baby mohawk he was sporting for a while. Those longer hairs are gone now, but he's starting to fill in more hair. Connor's smiling all the time now, except for when the camera comes out!

First Smile Caught on Camera

Connor has been smiling for a few weeks now, but we finally caught one on camera this weekend! He's been a very happy baby lately. He has even starting giving us some coos and giggles.

Little Bluejays Fan

Connor's ready to go to watch his favorite basketball team - the Creighton Bluejays. He loves going to the games and checking everything out. He has a lot of fun cheering and wearing himself out. He was wide awake until the last five minutes. Then he was sound asleep while the crowd went wild in the comeback Creighton win.

Hanging Out at Home

Here's a couple of cute pictures from last weekend. He's making all sorts of silly faces now. The top one's while he's hanging out on his changing table - his favorite spot to relax. He's so happy whenever he's laying there. The bottom one's in his crib - he's waving his arms around like crazy.

First Real Bath

This is from awhile ago, it's been really busy around here now that I'm back to work. We were finally brave enough to give Connor his first real bath on October 28th. He likes taking baths now that he can relax in the warm water.

Little Pumpkin

Silly Little Monkey

Everything has been going really well. Connor keeps growing like crazy. Here's a few cute pictures of him from the last couple of weeks. We can't believe he's already a month old - actually 5 weeks old today.

Brewers Fan

Here's a picture of Connor in his Milwaukee Brewers gear. Connor wasn't very happy that the Brewers lost the game and were eliminated from the playoffs. Neither was Dad.

Bundle of Joy

Here's some photos of Connor from the past week. He's keeping Mom and Dad busy with his constant eating, peeing, pooping, and sleeping. He doesn't like to sleep without being held, except for a few hours at night. And his other favorite tricks are pooping right after we change his diaper or peeing once his diaper is taken off. He is awake more, and he makes lots of silly faces and noises. He does smile occasionally, and he also likes to curl up one side of his lips like Elvis. Connor is quite the little character.

Nap Time

Last night was a long one, and everyone really needed a nap this morning. How cute!

First Bath

On Friday, Connor had his first bath. When Daddy was changing his diaper, Connor gave him a little surprise of peeing with his diaper off. We thought what better time to try a bath. He was not enjoying it at first, but calmed down when we washed his hair. Later, when looking at the picture above we guess that he didn't really enjoy that either.

First Day Home

On Thursday, we brought Connor home from the hospital. He looked adorable in his outfit picked out by Grandma Susie and Auntie Val. Seeing him in regular baby clothes and his car seat for the first time made him look so little, and then putting him in his crib made him look super tiny.

Connor Joseph

The big day came a little later than expected, but so worth the wait! Connor Joseph Rudden was born on September 23rd at 8:15 p.m. He is 20 1/2" long and weighs 7 lbs. 9 oz. He exercised his lungs a lot after his arrival as you can see above. The next day in the hospital was much more peaceful. Thanks everybody for your well wishes. Jerimiah and I are the proud parents of the most adorable baby, and we couldn't be happier!
