Christmas Time

The Rudden family enjoyed our first Christmas together this weekend. We had a great time at the botanical gardens for the poinsettia show again this year. The model trains are always a hit with Connor. Of course, he loved opening presents even more! Charlotte also had some fun - she's starting to show more personality with lots of cooing and smiles. The last photo is showing off her beautiful smile!

Santa!

Connor is very excited for Santa to bring presents this year! He had fun meeting Santa and actually sat on his lap this year. Connor asked Santa for toys, nothing specific - just toys. We also got to meet some of Santa's reindeer. Connor enjoyed checking out all the "Christmas stuff." He loves everything Christmas!

Nebraska vs. Iowa Game

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family. To add to the great holiday, the next day we watched the Nebraska/Iowa game with family as well. It was a fun time with both Nebraska and Iowa fans, especially since Nebraska won. The kids looked great in their Husker gear!

Charlotte

Here's some more pictures of our pretty girl, Charlotte. She's still our little peanut, but she's growing every day. Even Connor remarked, "You're growing up, Charlotte!" Can't believe she's almost one month old. Looking forward to showing her off on her first Thanksgiving!

Happy Halloween!

We had a very happy Halloween! Connor was an adorable doggy and Charlotte was a little pumpkin. We had fun trick-or-treating as a family of four! Connor did a great job of saying "trick-or-treat" and "thank you" at every house. He was super excited filling up his pumpkin with candy. After every house, he would run back to daddy shouting, "I got more candy, daddy!" He also had a blast handing out candy to all the kids who came to our door. And of course, Connor was excited to chow down on some candy. Lucky for us he was content and didn't whine when we cut him off.

Charlotte's First Week

Here's a few photos from Charlotte's first week. Charlotte enjoyed lots of good naps snuggling with grandma. She had her first bath - not a fan of them. Charlotte has had lots of fun with her big brother Connor. Connor likes to lay next to Charlotte on the floor to play with her, read her books, and give her lots of kisses.

Scary Pumpkin

Connor has been keeping busy playing with grandma, grandpa, and baby sister Charlotte. He had a fun weekend preparing for Halloween. Here's his scary face and the scary pumpkin Grandpa carved for him. He finds "scary" stuff hilarious. Connor had fun at the children's museum with daddy and grandpa, especially the cobweb castle. He also gets a kick out of throwing a blanket over himself and walk around as a ghost scaring people. Connor loves all things Halloween!
