We had a wonderful Father's Day weekend in Iowa again this year. Connor had fun swinging on the horse swing for hours at Grandpa Tom's house. We then headed to Camp David for fun in the pool. Connor was a little fishy only getting out of the pool for food. It was a terrific weekend spending time with family!

Summer Fun!
We are having a wonderful summer so far! Trips to the zoo, children's museum, library, eating ice cream, swimming lessons, running through the sprinkler, and more! We made it to our first Omaha Stormchasers game. It was fun, but not the same as the Royals at Rosenblatt. The family area was nice, especially since Connor's favorite part was the carousel. Connor also went fishing for the first time and loved it! He caught four fish and was so proud of his accomplishment, even touching the fish before returning them to their home.

Summer's Here!
Very excited that summer is finally here! There's been a couple of nice days this last week to take some trips to Lauritzen gardens and the zoo. Connor had tons of fun running around the gardens smelling the flowers, but mostly running around the model trains garden. The zoo was a major hit as usual. He loves all the animals, but we enjoy lots of time in the aquarium. We also got a kick out of watching the polar bear swim and play with a ball. Looking forward to many more trips to both places this summer!
Mother's Day
We had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend in Kansas City this year. We started with a trip to Union Station where Mom, Valarie, and I went to the Princess Diana exhibit - absolutely wonderful experience! Connor celebrated National Train Day with Jerimiah and Chuck at the various train exhibits - he was in train heaven! Then, we headed to the KC Royals game. And even though it wasn't a Brewers game, Jerimiah and Connor had to show off their Brewers attire. The game was very fast and uneventful to start, but ended up being exciting in later innings with a Royals win. Connor's favorite parts were the water fountains, riding the elephant on the carousel, and the hot dog races! Overall, a wonderful mother's day weekend spending time with family.
Hoppy Easter
We had another wonderful Easter with family. It was very exciting this year as Connor caught on to finding candy the Easter Bunny left. He's been enjoying his gifts from the Easter Bunny - some golf clubs, the movie Bambi and a stuffed Thumper. We've watched Bambi many, many times in the last couple of months. Connor also LOVES candy, and we're still munching on Easter candy in June! Connor also enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt and great-grandma Pat and papa Lee's house. With some encouragement he was definitely grabbing as many eggs as he could, but both he and Patrick were also willing to share. What sweet boys!

Play Time!
It's been a long time since I've written about the adventures of Connor, which is no indiction of him not being an absolute blast to be with! He's still as fun and hilarious as always! Although we've slacked off on our picture taking, Connor is still as creative and silly with the things he does, such as sending all his toys down the slide in the basement. We've pretty much given up keeping the basement tidy as it's definitely Connor's territory now. He also enjoys jumping on the bed, couch, and anywhere he can bounce. Connor still loves bath time, including giving his bath toys a bath in the sink. Basically living with Connor and enjoying his antics everyday is way funnier than any comedy we've seen!
