We had a wonderful fourth of July weekend - Connor was spoiled with both mommy and daddy for a four-day weekend. We started with a trip to the Lauritzen gardens, which has several huge model trains in one of the gardens - big hit with Connor. We enjoyed a night with friends, including a great fireworks show on the 3rd. Connor was scared at first, but really loved them as he got used to it. The 4th was a gloomy day, so headed to the mall for shopping and the play area, so Connor could burn off some of his energy. Also enjoyed a dinner with Aunt Vally, who will be very missed now that she's leaving Omaha. Wrapped up the weekend with another fun trip to the zoo. The pigmy hippos in the rainforest were a Connor favorite today, in addition to the regular favorites - the penguins, fishies, and gorillas.

Storytime
Connor and I have been visiting our library every week for toddler/preschool storytime. We have a great time, especially since Connor is absolutely in love with books. He is so excited to check out new books every week, and then we spend lots of time at home reading them. Every week, storytime has a theme and a craft. This week it was bugs, and we (mostly me) made ladybug hats - Connor wears it well!
Happy Father's Day!
We enjoyed another wonderful Father's Day weekend with our families. Connor had a good time exploring at Grandpa Tom's getting to pet a horse, dog, and kittens. He also enjoyed riding the horse swing again this year. It's amazing how much bigger he is compared to last year riding on the swing. We also enjoyed our time at Camp David swimming in the pool. Connor definitely loves being in the water.
Summer Fun!
We've been having a lot of fun so far this summer. Connor and I get to go on many adventures during the week with regular trips to the zoo, children's museum, library, and Gymboree. We also love to go shopping! Connor still has a blast outside - playing in the sandbox, kiddie pool, sliding, riding in his cozy coupe, going to the park, and running from mommy. On the day of the pictures below, Connor was having fun sliding into the pool. What a great way to keep cool on a summer day!

Jumping Bean
One more video - here's Connor showing off his awesome jumping skills. This is our Connor - every day, all day long!
Shooting Hoops
After playing basketball at Easter, Connor was very happy when he got his own basketball hoop. It took him awhile to get it, but now he can shoot hoops like a pro!
Easter Videos
Very belated, but here's some videos from Easter weekend. The first is of Connor hanging out with daddy and great-grandpa Papa Lee. The second is of Connor checking out of few things from his Easter basket. I love his crazy morning hair. The next week he got his hair chopped off, and I'm still not very happy about it, but it finally starting growing out. It's still pretty short, but looking cute now.
