December Adventures

December was busy with holiday fun. We visited the children's museum on Frozen night where the kids enjoyed meeting Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf. They always have so much fun there and loved the new zip-lining activity. One of the best parts of getting ready for Christmas is decorating the tree as a family. New tree in the new house was able to fit all of our ornaments and turned out beautifully. Trip to Santa went very well this year - No tears! Charlotte actually talked to Santa, however she would not sit on his lap and wanted to sit on Connor's lap instead.

Christmas Play

Connor's first grade class did a nativity play for their Christmas program this year, and they all did an amazing job. Connor was so happy he got the role of Joseph, especially since that's his middle name. All the kids had to memorize their lines and it went perfectly - pretty impressive for first graders. My favorite part was when Joseph pulled Mary in the donkey wagon towards Bethlehem. So cute!

Happy Halloween

We love Halloween! The kids love their jack-o-lanterns and pumpkins, but most of all trick-or-treating, of course! It's all about Star Wars and Frozen in the Rudden house, so the kids' Halloween costumes are no surprise - Boba Fett and Elsa. They had so much fun trick-or-treating in the new neighborhood checking out all the decorations and getting handfuls of candy - some very happy kids!

Happy Birthday, Charlotte!

Our little princess is 4! Charlotte is our independent and silly sweetheart. She had a Frozen themed birthday celebration with family complete with new Elsa nightgown, snow boots, scooter and castle. She sure can be stubborn, but oh so adorable! 

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Connor and I had so much fun exploring Vala's Pumpkin Patch with his first grade class! I helped supervise a group of five boys who loved hamming it up for the camera. We had a blast at the new obstacle course and sports area, the slides, train, bounce pad, haunted house, and hay rack ride to the pumpkin patch. Such a great group of kids and awesome day!

Country Fun

The kids had fun running around Grandpa Tom's house and more birthday celebrations. They love the animals and riding the horse swings, and Connor braved getting on a real horse this year.
