Summer Adventures

Another busy summer of adventures around Omaha! So far we've been to the library for story time and crafts, Lauritzen gardens, children's museum, Rose Theater to see "Tarzan" the musical, more tee ball games, Durham museum, the doctor's office for kindergarten physical (Connor's all ready to go!), and more zoo! Gotta love summer!

First Summer Zoo Trip

We had a blast on our perfect day to the zoo to kick off summer vacation! Charlotte loves it more and more each time we go. The highlight of this trip for Connor was feeding the budgies. He was able to get two of the birds to land on his feeding stick all by himself. He was so proud of himself, and I was, too!

May Fun

May ended with lots of fun and parties, but with some bumps and bruises. I love celebrating graduation and the end of the school year. We had fun with soccer this year, and the kids were sad the season was over. Connor had some accidents with a swing and frisbee that led to a swollen black eye and deep cut on the nose that required some glue at urgent care. He sure was a tough guy and was right back to playing hard with just a few tears. Then, it was time to kick off summer with a trip to the children's museum!

Spring Sports

It's been a busy and fun spring with a lot of soccer and tee ball! Connor has really enjoyed playing and keeps getting better. He's so proud when he scores goals! Charlotte loves tagging along and being outside, but she's getting anxious to play soccer with the big kids.

Happy Easter

We had a very Happy Easter with the family again this year. The Neubauer Easter egg hunt was a big hit as always. Both Connor and Charlotte grabbed lots of eggs and candy. They had tons of fun riding around in their cousin's kid car, too. Easter morning they were thrilled by the baskets and candy left by the Easter bunny!
