Star Wars Night at the Museum

Time for one of Connor's favorite nights of the year - Star Wars night at the children's museum! Connor and Charlotte always have fun playing at the museum, but it was extra fun checking out some of the Star Wars characters. Connor could tell you all about most of the guys and was excited for pictures with them. Charlotte loved gazing at them, especially Darth Vader, but was too scared for pictures except with R2D2.

 

Merry Christmas!

The Ruddens had a very happy Christmas! The kids are at such a fun age as they both love opening presents and were super excited for Santa to visit. Connor loved all his cars and Star Wars stuff, which is exactly what he asked Santa for. Charlotte loved her Minnie stuff, dolls, and picnic basket that she loved to carry around like a purse. We had such a wonderful week in Colorado and western Nebraska with family. December Fun

December is busy, but lots of fun! Charlotte helped with some of the Christmas shopping, but got a little wore out. Connor had a wonderful Pre-K Christmas program with some cute songs and dances, and we made gingerbread houses. We enjoyed a trip to the Durham museum to see Santa and check out the giant Christmas tree. Connor sat on Santa's lap, but wouldn't tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas because he'd already told him. Charlotte was too scared to see Santa after he let out a couple big ho-ho-hos. We headed to Colorado for Christmas and had fun going bowling for the first time as a family. We also snuck in a snowy trip to the park with some nice weather after Christmas. Charlotte loved the huge, tall slide and Connor finally conquered the fire pole and now loves it! He said that if he was a fireman he'd take the fire pole all time, not just when it's emergencies. :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Happy Holidays!

We are having a very happy holiday season so far this year! We celebrated two Thanksgivings and one Christmas already. This weekend we had fun braving the cold to see Santa and his reindeer on Saturday, and then stayed warm decorating our house for Christmas on Sunday. Connor loves to pick out ornaments and put them on the tree. He's also very interested in Jesus this year and really loves looking at our nativity scene and ornaments. Charlotte just loves the tree and taking it all in. Happy Holidays!
