Charlotte's Baptism

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Charlotte's baptism with our family. Charlotte was a happy baby all through church, chatting so much we had to give her the pacifier to try to quiet her down a little. She did beautifully during her baptism. We are very blessed to have such a happy and healthly baby girl. Thank you to all the family that joined us in celebrating the joyous event and party!

Zoo Time

It took us a while, but we finally made it to the zoo for the first time of the year and Charlotte's first time ever! The kids enjoyed the zoo trip with cousins Kyla and Kason, too. The renovated aquarium is better than ever, and Connor was fascinated by it as always. Also, as usual, he turned into a really silly monkey when we checked out the monkeys and gorillas. I especially like the shot of him showing off his karate moves. Charlotte didn't see much, but she sure enjoyed the ride and time with family.

Happy Easter

We had a wonderfully happy Easter this year! Connor really understands the fun of the Easter Bunny and Easter egg hunts this time. He was just thrilled about the whole day, and he enjoyed lots of candy. Charlotte looked beautiful and happy on her first Easter!

More March Adventures

Connor and Charlotte are quite the pair - they just adore each other! Wonder how long that will last. :) Here they are snuggling up in Connor's bed reading books. This spring Connor started playing soccer with the Red Kangaroos team. He gets some good kicks in during the practice portion, but during the games he's just running after the mob of kids. No soccer star yet, but he loves it! Charlotte continues to grow. Here's some shots of her at about five months. Love that smile!

Spring Break in KC

Connor, Charlotte and I had a relaxing and fun-filled spring break with Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Valarie in Kansas City. Connor had a blast celebrating Grandma's birthday! He picked out a huge cake for her, so much cake that we all had a piece every day all week. Connor loved singing happy birthday and helping blow out candles, but his favorite part was playing with the Toy Story birthday card he picked out for Grandma. Charlotte didn't get any cake, but she did start eating "real" food, delicious rice cereal, and she loved it! We've added all sorts of fruits and veggies to her diet now, and she's growing like crazy! One of the highlights of the trip was the trips to Penguin Park. Connor was in kid heaven running around playing on all the animals, slides and swings. Grandpa, Connor and I also had a wonderful time at Disney on Ice. Connor was ecstatic seeing all his favorite Disney characters all big and skating around. He especially loved Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy!
