Hoppy Easter

We had another wonderful Easter with family. It was very exciting this year as Connor caught on to finding candy the Easter Bunny left. He's been enjoying his gifts from the Easter Bunny - some golf clubs, the movie Bambi and a stuffed Thumper. We've watched Bambi many, many times in the last couple of months. Connor also LOVES candy, and we're still munching on Easter candy in June! Connor also enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt and great-grandma Pat and papa Lee's house. With some encouragement he was definitely grabbing as many eggs as he could, but both he and Patrick were also willing to share. What sweet boys!

St. Patrick's Day at the Zoo

Jerimiah and Connor enjoyed a fun morning at the zoo on St. Patrick's Day, which is a very good day to hit the zoo. Apparently it's not very busy that day, so Connor got to spend some quality time with the gorillas, including the baby gorilla!

Play Time!

It's been a long time since I've written about the adventures of Connor, which is no indiction of him not being an absolute blast to be with! He's still as fun and hilarious as always! Although we've slacked off on our picture taking, Connor is still as creative and silly with the things he does, such as sending all his toys down the slide in the basement. We've pretty much given up keeping the basement tidy as it's definitely Connor's territory now. He also enjoys jumping on the bed, couch, and anywhere he can bounce. Connor still loves bath time, including giving his bath toys a bath in the sink. Basically living with Connor and enjoying his antics everyday is way funnier than any comedy we've seen!

More Christmas

By the last round of Christmas, Connor was a pro at opening presents and loving every minute. No wrapped present was safe from Connor. Connor loved riding the horsey around the house. Thanks everyone for all the wonderful gifts! Have a Happy New Year!

Holiday Happenings

Here's some photos from our trip to Lauritzen gardens to check out the poinsettias and Santa. The visit with Santa didn't go so well, but Connor had fun checking out the trains and trolley running through the flowers. He also had a blast coloring reindeer and snowman.

Santa!

Connor was up late Christmas Eve partying with the family, so he slept in a bit Christmas morning. I kept wanting to wake him up to check out what Santa left. He doesn't quite get the concept of Santa yet. Connor had a bit of a meltdown when we went to see Santa and refused to sit on Santa's lap. Other than that he gets excited every time we talk about Santa, and he even will tell you that Santa says, "Ho, ho, ho!" Even though he was a bit sleepy, Connor still loved checking out what Santa brought him. The adults had fun with the singing and dancing Mickey Mouse, but Connor's favorite were his "Cars" matchbox cars. He still carries them around with him and many times takes them with him to bed. Good job, Santa!

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! Lots of fun times with family and friends. Connor really got into opening presents this year, which is good because he received a ton. Here he's opening presents at home and loved all the books, legos and puzzles. He's constantly grabbing a book and pulling himself onto mommy's lap for reading. He's a pro at puzzles and can do them mostly on his own, just needs a hint here or there from mom or dad. Daddy and Connor have fun building "big towers" with legos. Even more fun for Connor is knocking the big towers down. A lot of fun adventues for Connor!
