Little Husker!

Connor's sporting his Nebraska gear on a November game day. He loves watching football with Daddy just about as much as he loves getting into the cupboards. He's constantly removing everything out of the one kitchen cupboard he has access to and all the drawers. He's an absolute joy to watch play and he doesn't slow down one bit until he's wiped out and ready to read books and cuddle before naps and bedtime. Just as I was typing this I had to take a break because Connor wanted me to read to him his favorite book - Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? I think it's time for cuddles and a nap...

Our Little Monster

More pics from Halloween...
Our adorable little monster hard at play. In the bottom one, we have our own little Godzilla attacking the Little People school bus. He likes to ride it any day, but it's especially funny when he's all dressed up in his costume.

Happy Halloween!

Hope everyone had a happy Halloween! We stayed home to hand out candy with the assistance of our little monster, but he wasn't content to stay inside waiting for trick-or-treaters. We spent a little while outside scaring potential trick-or-treaters - only one little guy dressed like Elmo. Connor had a great time seeing all the kids dressed up, and he can't wait until next year to get to go himself.

Beautiful Fall Day

Yesterday was a beautiful day, so Connor got to enjoy playing outside. He wasn't a big fan of playing in the leaves. Connor was more into running up and down the sidewalk and brick walkway to our house. He loves to watch the cars go by. Connor loves being outside so much it's one of the words he attempts to say. He looks out the door or window and yells "ou da" - so cute! Too bad it's getting colder and not too many more nice days to play outside.

Carving Pumpkins

After Race for the Cure, there was the annual pumpkin carvings. Here's Connor previewing his halloween costume. First with cousins Mary and Shannon. Then with all the pumpkins and Great-grandma Pat, Aunt Diana, Shannon, Grandpa Chuck, Mary, and Aunt Vally. Below Connor's getting some love from Grandma and Grandpa and then from Aunt Vally.

Race for the Cure

Beautiful but chilly day for Race for the Cure. Here's my cousins and I pre-race. We attempted to take Connor, but the wait was just too long and he was tuckered out before the race began. Below is a nice shot of the massive crowed, over 25,ooo people, and the downtown Des Moines skyline.

Silly Connor

Here's a couple of pictures of Connor being his usual silly self. At top, he's figured out how to crawl into the cabinets and he can fit just perfect in this one sitting checking out his snacks. In the bottom picture, he's a happy baby after he finished his dinner just hamming it up for the camera.
