Connor's Birthday Party

Connor had a blast at his 1st birthday party. He was more excited about opening gifts, but Dad had to do most of the work. Connor was ready to play with his new toys - lots of cars and noisy fun!

Happy 1st Birthday!

Connor had a wonderful week of birthday celebrations. Here he is on his actual birthday enjoying a cupcake - just getting warmed up for the chocolate cake at his party. Also, Connor's not really sure what to think of opening presents. He's more into playing with little bits of wrapping paper, probably hoping to eat some if we weren't paying attention.

Connor's Wheels

For a first birthday what better gift than some wheels! Connor loves anything with wheels and has a blast in his new Cozy Coupe and Radio Flyer Wagon.

Mischievous Little Guy

Connor's been up to lots the last few weeks. It was tough going back to school, but Connor's having fun playing with the kids at daycare. He is constantly making Jerimiah laugh with his expressions, noises, and sneaky ways. He loves to climb things, especially the stairs and the ottoman in our living room. In the second picture you can see him going nuts rocking on the ottoman. We had to put the ottoman away for now, along with many other things that tempt Connor, because he would push it to the couch or chair and climb onto the end table or other high places - very scary for Mom and Dad. Connor is also getting to be quite the little walker. About a week ago he started taking his first steps - two to three at a time. Tonight we watched him get halfway across our living room! Soon it'll be goodbye to crawling and hello running. Then we'll really get a good workout chasing after him and lots more adventures...

Connor & Kyla

Here's Connor playing with his cousin Kyla. They're six months apart to the day. Sometimes they will play nice, but it usually doesn't last for long. They both like to touch and poke each other, but when they are the one getting poked, it's not so much fun.

Adventures in Crawling

Connor has all sorts of adventures now that he's a master crawler. He can crawl over many things and into tiny spaces. Here he's crawled under an end table. He found the lamp cord which he thinks is tons of fun and playing with curtains are a good time, too. Luckily, he'll crawl out when asked without hurting himself.

Even Crazier Messier Baby

Connor loves to eat yogurt. The other morning he practically dove off my lap from eating a bottle over to Jerimiah because Connor wanted some of the yogurt Jerimiah was eating. So this morning Connor decided to get Jerimiah's leftover yogurt out of the trash to eat it, chew on the container, and cover himself from head to toe in it. Time for a bath!
