Happy Fourth of July

Hope everyone had a wonderful July 4th weekend. Even though it was more like April than July we had a great time celebrating Connor's first Independence Day. Down below Connor's playing his first game of catch with Daddy. Both had a great time!

Crazy Messy Baby

Connor was an extra crazy and messy baby last night. After the zoo and a good nap, he was so hyperactive. At top he's having a snack after dinner. His top four teeth are coming in all at once, so eating is a little troublesome. He likes to spit - a lot - which makes big messes all over. He's been cleaned up a little, but you can still see his yellow nose and hands. Down below he was just having fun going crazy with mommy and daddy.

At the Zoo

We've gone to the zoo a couple of times this summer, and Connor's having a good time. At first he didn't really get it and spent more time people watching than looking at animals. He did smile at the elephants and rhinos yesterday - I think it actually saw them. So many of the animals are hard for him to see, especially sitting in the stroller. Connor's favorite part is definitely the aquarium. He loves the tunnel with fish, sharks, and sting rays swimming all around you. In the picture, you can catch a glimpse of a sting ray in the background.

Playing in the Kitchen

Connor always has a ball playing in the kitchen. He loves the alphabet magnets on the refrigerator. He enjoys getting into the trash no matter how many times he's told no. Connor loves to get into his cabinet with all his goodies. He also enjoys "helping" mom load the dishwasher and playing with his reflection in the oven.

Father's Day Weekend

Here's Connor with Daddy on Father's Day getting ready to go swimming. At the bottom, Connor's riding the horse swing at Grandpa's house, and of course he has to chew on that string.

Look at Me

Here's Connor showing off his standing abilities. He spends all day now standing up, falling down, and crawling. It makes me very nervous, but he does a good job of falling down so as not to get hurt. He is starting to climb on things now - he got on top of the suitcase while I was trying to unpack.

Trip to Colorado

We enjoyed our first trip to Colorado with Connor. Connor had another first - his first time flying. He did great on the way there, but the way back was a little rough - a combination of ears hurting, teeth hurting, and exhausted. We had a great time with the Rudden family. Connor loves spending time with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousin Kyla. Here's a couple pictures of the two of them hanging out. Connor loved the Colorado Rockies game. It was a little scary with the tornado warnings, but we're all safe and sound.
